Glenn Murphy

Glenn jumped at the chance to complete a mature-aged apprenticeship when it was offered to him. As a result of his success—at TAFE and in his workplace—Glenn was granted an early completion of his apprenticeship by his employer and awarded 2022 NSW Apprentice of the Year with Australian Meat Industry Council.

Genevieve Campbell

After completing her Certificate Four in Tertiary Preparation with top marks, Genevieve received early entry into university where she is now studying Veterinary Technology.

Matthew Balfour

The Diploma of Building Design provided Matthew with the opportunity to gain qualifications in designing sustainable homes for the future, and the course length of 2 years full time was more realistic than a degree course length.

Leila de Young

Leila started her apprenticeship two weeks out of high school, and now has a qualification at the age of 21, which will keep her highly employable for the rest of her working life in a forever-growing, essential industry with endless room for growth.

Keshela discusses her uplifting journey to achieve a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education from TAFE NSW Shellharbour Campus and how it helped prepare her for her vocation as an Early Childhood teacher.

Bec completed her TAFE NSW course in 2020, gaining certification as a Polymer Technician which has helped her transition from a 15-year career in government administration to start a successful non-profit social enterprise business.

Jennifer is a mature aged student who completed her Diploma of Adult Education with TAFE NSW to enhance her workplace training role of teaching new pathology workers.

Joseph Stanley

Joseph studied with TAFE NSW as a TVET student during his high school years, graduating from TAFE Digital with a Certificate II in Business in 2020, and winning the Technology and Business Services ‘Student of the Year’ Award.

Maddie Piesley

Maddie is a proud indigenous woman of the Yuin nation who completed a Certificate in Business Administration at TAFE NSW’s Shellharbour Campus through a traineeship with Southern Youth and Family Services.

Guinevere Rose

Guinevere Rose is a mature aged student who has always had a passion for screenwriting, and came to TAFE NSW to learn more about the film and TV industry, completing a Certificate IV in Screen and Media.

Kallan Strong

Kallan is following his passion for photography by studying a Certificate in Studio Work at Hornsby TAFE campus after completing his Diploma in Photography with TAFE NSW.
